Girls Tennis
Central Valley 8, Beyer 1
The Lady Hawks continued their dominant run through the WAC as they defeated the Beyer Patriots yesterday by the score of 8-1. CV singles wins came from Aleena Higle, Harkiran Sandhu, Aaliyah Jauregui, Serath Birring, and Roxana Orozco. CV doubles wins came from Genesis Velasquez Pedraza/Ilyana Vidal, Valeria Sanchez Luna /Selena Cubillo, and Emily Carranza /Natalia Campos. The Hawks are now 3-0 in league play and will attempt to stay perfect when they travel to Livingston on Thursday to take on the Wolves.
Girls Golf
Central Valley 173, Lathrop 200
For the first time in school history, the Hawks girls golf team defeated the Lathrop Spartans! It was a day of personal bests as 3 Hawks notched their best-ever individual performances. CV was led by Emily Mariani (39), Nevaeh Perez (43), and Audrey Rico (50) led the Hawks to victory. CV will be back in action next Tuesday in the WAC Mid-Season Tournament at Rancho Del Rey in Atwater.
Flag Football
Beyer 32, Central Valley 12
The Hawks ran into a solid Beyer team on Monday night and fell by the score of 32-12. CV still remains in the middle of the standings as the league is bottled up this year with several teams in the mix for the playoffs. The Hawks will look to get back in the win column tonight when they travel to Livingston to take on the 3-0 and 1st place Wolves.
Girls Volleyball
Beyer defeats Central Valley 3-0
Things did not go in favor of the Hawks on Monday night as the Beyer Patriots defeated CV in straight sets. The Hawks will be back in action tonight in a home matchup against the Livingston Wolves. Come out to the CV gym tonight to watch our Hawks take on Livingston 4:30pm/5:30pm/6:30pm.
Water Polo
Girls: Pacheco 20, Central Valley 8
Boys: Pacheco 12, Central Valley 4
Both water polo teams made the trip to Los Banos on Monday night and fell to the Pacheco Panthers. The Hawks will host the Beyer Patriots today at the CV pool. Come out to watch the action with the girls game starting at 4:00pm, followed by the boys game at 5:00pm.
